OBITUARY

Bobby "Bob" Lee Kramer

February 25, 1943July 8, 2020

Bobby Lee Kramer passed away on July 8, 2020, after a courageous battle. Bob was born in Spokane, Washington, on February 25, 1943, to Edward and Edna Kramer. He grew up in Medical Lake, Washington, and graduated from Medical Lake High School, where he was active in sports and lettered in football. He enlisted in the U.S. Army and served in Vietnam as a Spec 4, in the 10th Cavalry. He moved to Portland in the late 1960’s, attended Portland State University, and graduated from Northwestern College of Business. He had a long, successful career in restaurant management. Bob and his wife, Cathey, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on June 19, 2020. He was a Trailblazer fan from the beginning and an avid fan of college and pro sports, including basketball, football, baseball, golf, and auto racing. His favorite pastime was summer bike riding with Cathey, and they took many road trips to experience new scenic bike paths. There was nothing he enjoyed more than spending time with his family, especially his young grandchildren. Bob was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Cathey; sister, Joanne Edmison; brother, Jerry; daughter, Kristin Walter (Greg); son, Ryan (Elizabeth); and beloved grandchildren Ryleigh, Vivienne, Isabelle, and Henry, and his nieces and nephews. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the Memorial Service to celebrate Bob’s life will be livestreamed on Friday, July 24, 2020, at 11 a.m., at https://stceciliachurch.org/liturgy-broadcasts. Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
