Dawn was a paralegal for many, many years working in the estate planning field.
She was a trainer of champion Arabian horses. Dawn also raised many service miniture Schnauzers.
Dawn was preceded in death by her husband, Alan Mellis. Survivors include her brother, Wayland Henry, sister in law, Cindi Henry; niece Tessa Henry; cousin, Patty Henry; her special friends whom she considered her daughters, Cyndi Johnston and Barb Johnson.
A funeral service will be May 20, 2013, at 12:00 pm at Pegg, Paxson, & Springer Chapel in Beaverton. Private burial will be at Crescent Grove Cemetery in Tigard, Oregon.
