Faye Darlene Leonard

Faye Darlene Leonard passed on Saturday, July 26, 2014. She was born in Salem, Oregon. Her Father ( Frank Butler) and Mother (Laverne Macel Butler) predeceased her. Her husband, Robert Leonard, passed away in 2010.

Faye retired from the Bureau of Land Management in Roseburg, Oregon. She and Robert lived in Winston, Oregon until Robert passed. Her family then moved her up to Beaverton to be close to her.

Faye had many hobbies during her life. She loved sewing and quilting and made dozens of beautiful quilts for family and friends; she loved bird watching; she researched family genealogy for many years; collected dolls; she most loved "being a country girl" and gardening.

Faye's family includes: Brother, Eldon Butler and his wife Jan Butler from Puyallup, WA; Sister, Rose Ash from Winston, OR.; Son, Gus James and his wife Gail James from Beaverton; Grandchildren: Brian James and his wife Margaret James from Beaverton; Carolyn Esch and her husband Brandon Esch from Beaverton; Great-grandchildren Lily and Elliot James from Beaverton.
