Gil Pinpin Bonifacio

On Thursday, February 22, 2018, Gil Pinpin Bonifacio passed away peacefully at OHSU surrounded by family at the age of 47 and joined his departed niece Shia. Gil will be lovingly remembered by his partner Gayno, by his father Edilberto and stepmom Evangelina, his mother Corazon, and his sisters Leonila, Nicolasa, Natalie, and Cecilia. Gil will be forever remembered by his nephews and nieces, Jacob, Joshua, Juni, Chloe, Sydney, Tatum, Isabella, and Julia. As well as his extended family and dear friends. Gil was born on September 01, 1970, in Pampanga, Philippines, raised by his Apu Diding and Apu Della. He then came to the United States as a teenager in 1982. He then graduated from Sunset High School prior to joining the Air Force. He was a talented craftsman, loved traveling, hiking, singing, dancing, but most of all, spending time with family. Gil has spent the last 4 years in Coos Bay with his partner Gayno.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, February 28th, at 11:00am, at St. Cecilia Catholic Church 5105 SW Franklin Ave, Beaverton, OR 97005.

Grief is like the ocean; it comes in waves, ebbing and flowing. Sometimes the water is calm, and sometimes it is overwhelming. All we can do is learn to swim. – Vicki Harrison
