John Andrew Gregor, born in Cleveland, Ohio, left high school early to serve in the US Navy during WWII. After the war, he worked at Davis Plywood in Cleveland, OH; Astoria Plywood in Astoria, OR; North Pacific Lumber in Portland; and ultimately as a partner at Simon, Crabtree, and Ryan in Lake Oswego. He is preceded in death by his parents, Andy and Verna; and wife of 53 years, Ora Mae. Survivors include his brother, Andy; sister, Georgina Alexandroff; numerous nieces and nephews; and son, John Jr. Visitation will be Monday, March 21, 11am- 8pm at Pegg, Paxson, & Springer chapel. Mass of Christian Burial wiil be Tuesday, March 22 at 11am at St. Cecilia Catholic Church; burial will be at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Portland. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
