Kathy Anne Curtis

Kathy peacefully passed away while surrounded by family on March 10, 2015 at the Providence St. Vincent Medical Center of non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma. Born and raised in Reno, Nev., she moved to Oregon in 1981 where she fell in love with the Oregon coast and the outdoors of the Willamette Valley. Later in life she discovered golf, which she loved playing with friends and family, even with her high handicap. A long-time employee of Nike, she greatly enjoyed watching the company grow and all the different departments and co-workers she got to work with over the years. She is survived by John, her husband of 36 years, her sister Karen Tanner, her two children Fred and Kimberly, and five grandchildren.

A celebration of Kathy’s life will be held Tuesday, March 17, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Pegg, Paxson & Springer Funeral Chapel in Beaverton. Formal funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 18, at St. Cecilia Catholic Church, 5105 Franklin Ave., Beaverton. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to the OHSU Knight Cancer Center or Mercy Corps.
