Kay graduated from Tigard High School in 1974. She then graduated from Western Oregon College for her studies in interpretation for the deaf.
She married in 1992, to Greg Harty. They moved to the Central Oregon Coast and lived there to the present. Kay owned and operated a successful glass bead and gift shop there from 1999 to 2011.
She was very proud of her Scottish and Native American heritage. She despised war and violence. She worshipped the Earth, its creatures, its fauna, its moon and above all, its Sun.
She will desperately be missed by all who knew her and her family of pets.
She will always be remembered in our hearts. Goodnight my Love, God bless....
