Larry A. Simson, 76, of Beaverton, OR. passed away on December 6, 2016. He was born in Portland, OR. on December 20, 1939. He attended Beaverton High School and later joined the U.S. Marine Corp in 1958. Larry worked in transportation for United Grocery and Ed Bowers Trucking. He was a member of the NRA, Hillsboro Trap Club, American Legion Post 90 and the West Slope Fire Department as a volunteer fireman. Larry had a passion for guns, hunting, being outdoors, cooking and being around his friends and family. He is survived by his partner, Sue Sapp; children, Vern and Jaime Simson; grandchild, Devon Doak; and brothers, Doug and Neil Simson.
