Mary Billings Jameson, 103, passed away peacefully with family by her side on September 24, 2017. Mary was born August 9, 1914, in Portland and became the first Jantzen swimsuit model at the age of 19. She and her husband of 54 years, Richard Billings, taught ballroom classes to thousands of Portland youth and traveled the world together teaching dance on board cruise ships. She was later married to Walter Jameson for 11 years. Mary was a talented artist and enjoyed a long and successful career in real estate. She is survived by her children, Ted Billings, Kathy Boehm, and Dick and Mary Louise Billings; 7 grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. Her kind and loving spirit will be missed by all who knew her.
