What comes to mind for me as I remember Robert is what Paul said of himself in 1st Corinthians 2:2.
To paraphrase:
‘For [he] determined not to know anything among you except Jesus Christ and Him crucified.’
He never shied away from his devotion to Jesus. I am convinced he was received with open arms and a ‘well done’ from his Lord. His memory is a blessing.

Will miss Robert. Always so happy and smiling.
When ever I would come to visit at the beach he would gladly make me coffee.
I think of him as a constant companion to his Mom Ginny. Their many trips to the bins and any other place Ginny went to.
Where ever he lived he would meet and make alot of friends.
He will be greatly missed.

I am so sorry to hear of Robert's passing. Robert and I both spent our childhood in Sellwood, at the Club or at Cleveland HS, and even later in life our paths would at times cross in the old neighborhood, or on the bus. Robert was always such a wonderful person to see and talk to. His big smile, his excitement; as a youth he opened my mind and heart to the differences people can have and celebrate in each other.
