Robert is survived by Dorothy, his wife and best friend of 74 years; his daughter (predeceased) Sharon and son-in-law Nic Dundell; son David and daughter-in-law Patty; 4 grandchildren, Tammy Goen of Sunriver; Tracy (John) Pax, of Vancouver; Dan Nichols, of Orongo, Missouri; Doug Nichols of Canby; and 2 great grandchildren Quinn and Mylia Pax of Vancouver.
Robert enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1943 and after serving his country for 3 years he went to work for Albers Milling in Portland, Oregon and spent 44 years as their credit manager. He enjoyed tennis, traveling and his family. Robert will be greatly missed. He was a generous and thoughtful man who always took care of his wife and family.
