Ty was the Director of Brown Institute in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida where he worked for 25 years.
He served in the Army during World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Frances; sons, Steven, Mark and David; step daughter, Holly Chamberlin; 6 grandchildren; sisters, Ruth Riemer, Lois Koenig and Elaine Farrington.
A memorial service will be Friday, April 15, 2011 at 1:00 at St. Andrew Lutheran Church, 12405 SW Butner Rd. Private inurnment will be at Willamette National Cemetery.
