Born in Fayetteville, he was the son of the late Wilbur and Emma Epperly.
Mr. Epperly was a graduate of Fayetteville High School, attended WVU Tech and was a retired truck driver for Cooks Motor Freight. He was a strong-willed man who enjoyed hunting, fishing and boating.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Bobby; and two sisters, Shelby and Bonnie.
He is survived by two brothers, Tommy Epperly and Fred Perry; one sister, Linda Kiser; close friend, Aaron Treadway; along with many other friends.
Graveside services will be held at a later date in Huse Memorial Park, Fayetteville, WV.
