Born in Oak Hill, WV, he was the son of the late Clay and Opal Smith Skaggs.
Mr. Skaggs was a graduate of Fayetteville High School Class of 1974 and from WVU Tech. He worked in telecommunications for more than 40 years at Appalachian Electric Power. He enjoyed civil war reenactments.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Michael Skaggs.
Left with wonderful, cherished memories include his two sons, Christopher (Dhina) Skaggs of Chesapeake, VA and Jason Webb of NC; four grandchildren, Mika, Nikki, Nathan and Amelia; along with many friends.
Graveside services to celebrate his life will be 11:00 A.M. Friday, March 21, 2025, at Huse Memorial Park Fayetteville, WV.
