101, Beech Grove, IN, passed away Sunday, August 22, 2010. Bertha was born November 20, 1908 in Indianapolis, IN to the late Francis and Florence (Butcher) Richardson. Bertha retired from Indiana National Bank in 1967 after 17 years of service. She was an active member of the First Christian Church of Beech Grove and Beech Grove Senior Citizens. She is survived by her daughter, Ernestine Ludeman; sister, Zeta Price; brothers, Francis Richardson, Herman Richardson; grandson, Paul Mendenhall, Jr.; five great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Mendenhall, and son, Paul Mendenhall, Sr. Visitation is Wednesday, August 25, 2010 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Little & Sons Funeral Home, Beech Grove Chapel, where the funeral will be at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery.
