I have known you for over twenty years. Before kids and mortgages. Before any real responsibilities. We have been friends. But most of all, you were my sister. Not only by marriage, but in spirit. Your laugh, your friendship, your honesty. We love you and will miss you dearly.

I had the pleasure to know Carisa for 1.5 years as an attendee of the Creek church. I know I speak for myself and several other ladies who knew Carisa. Carisa was the hardest working mom we knew for her girls.
It was Carisa's wacky sense of humour about life and contagious laugh that we will miss the most!
Miss you Carisa! Many prayers going out to her family.

The Compassionate Friends is an international grief support group for parents, grandparents and siblings who have suffered the heartbreaking loss of a child.  Our only mission is to provide comfort, hope and support to every family experiencing the death of a son or daughter, brother or sister, or grandchild, and to help others better assist the grieving family.
We meet monthly on the first Tuesday at the First Baptist Church, 99 W. Main St, Greenwood, IN 46142 and on the third Thursday at the Epworth United Methodist, 6450 Allisonville Road, Indianapolis, IN 46220.
If and when you are ready to do so, please join us for either, or both, meetings.

Carisa, from the day you were born I knew you were special. I watched you grow into a great young woman who is compassionate and caring. I was so proud of you when you became a nurse. Through your work you have touched so many lives, both your patients and the people you worked with. I wish i would have told you more often how much I loved you. I'm going to miss your smile and your laugh. I know you will be okay now because you are with God.

Carisa, I cherish the time we spent together over the last two years. You were my "partner in crime". I remember the first day we worked together. We got into a sticky situation trying to hold a cabinet on the wall while removing  all of the charts. You looked at me laughing and said "How do we always find ourselves in this situation?" I responded to you with "Yeah, this is a real Ethel and Lucy situation" We laughed and laughed and we kept laughing for the next two years. You quickly  became a dear friend. I'm missing you so much already. RIH my dear friend. I will miss you.

I couldn't have asked for a better sister. You were smart, beautiful, caring, compassionate, loving, kind, a great mother, aunt, daughter, niece, granddaughter, sister and friend and your absence has left a huge hole in my heart.
