Charles Ray "Chuck" Keeney

Charles Ray Keeney, age 75, of Beech Grove, Indiana passed away on Thursday January 3, 2019. Charles was born December 12, 1943 in Finley, Ohio to the late Marshall Keeney and Virginia (Carrico) Keeney. He is also preceded in death by his wife, Mickey Keeney. Charles proudly served in the Vietnam War as an Army Airborne Ranger. He retired from Amtrack in Beech Grove after 40 years of service.

Charles is survived by his sons, Brian Keeney (Therese) and Kevin Keeney; daughters, Tammy Dunham (Chris) and Shelly Keeney (Mark Rowe); sisters, Carolyn Brown, Pat Fox, Judy File, and Becky Wuest; 8 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren.

Visitation for Charles will be held Sunday, January 6, 2019 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Little & Sons Funeral Home, 1301 Main St, Beech Grove, Indiana 46107. A Time of Final Respect will follow at 12:00 PM at the funeral home. He will be laid to rest following the service Sunday, January 6, 2019 at Concord Cemetery, Morristown, Indiana.

I enjoyed drinking beer with Chuck at the bass tournaments with Choo Choo Bass Club. I enjoyed fishing with Chuck. He will be deeply missed. He was a good man! Larry Bowling

Brian, Tammy, Shellie & Kevin, I am so sorry to hear about your dad’s passing. I know this is a very sad and difficult time for all of you. You have my very deepest sympathy. I will keep you all close in my thoughts and prayers in the coming weeks as you are going through your process of grieving. Chuck was a good man. I have good memories of lots of sleep-overs, bowling and fishing with Chuck and Mickey. May God bring you peace and comfort.
