Christine Parmer

Christine Parmer, 77, of Indianapolis, passed away Friday, May 10, 2013. She was born September 5, 1935 in Tenaha, TX to the late Leo and Hattie Barton. Christine was a loving, caring, and devoted mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She dedicated her life to her family as a homemaker and she recently attended Irvington Church of the Nazarene. Christine is survived by her children, Jack Parmer, Charles Parmer, Denelda Parmer, Debbie Groshon, and Marlisa Lanteigne; 15 grandchildren; great grandchildren, Kalob, Destiny, Makalie, Ryleigh, AJ, Samiya, Lucy, and Zoey; and siblings, Pearl Price, Zannie Hughes, and Leroy Barton. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Jackie Parmer; daughters, Penny Parmer and Linda Johnson; granddaughter, Julie DeWitte; and siblings, Lucille Litson, Lonzo Barton, and Willis Barton. Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 15, 2013 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in Little & Sons Funeral Home, Beech Grove Chapel, where the funeral will be held Thursday, May 16, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Pleasant View Cemetery.
