David Allen Fields II

David Allen Fields II, of Indianapolis, died Monday, January 19, 2015. Mr. Fields was born on August 4, 1949, and was 65 years old. Mr. Fields, often referred to as "Doc", was a disabled Vietnam Veteran, where he served in the U.S. Army as a Medic.

After his discharge from the service, Mr. Fields spent several years helping his father operate a horse ranch in Colorado. While in Colorado, Mr. Fields also served as a Veterinarian's Assistant. Doc Fields enjoyed animals of all kinds, spending time with his best friend Larry Souders and his neighbors Larry & Donna Ford. Mr. Fields was active in Alcoholics Anonymous as a mentor, as well as being active in the ASPCA and Wounded Warriors Program.

Mr. Fields was preceded in death by his older brother Rick Fields, and his father David Fields. He is survived by his sister Cynthia Lucille (Fields) Bybee, several nieces and nephews, his friend Darin Sellers, and several cousins.

There will not be a service for David. His remains will be cremated.
