David Lee Fouts

David was born on October 12, 1948. He proudly served in the United States Navy from 1968 to 1972. He worked for 36 years for the United States Postal Service. He was a faithful member of Holy Name Catholic Church in Beech Grove. He found great joy in the outdoors and in the people he loved most.

David was preceded in death by his father, Charles Fouts, and his mother, Jeannine Fouts.

David is survived by his loving wife, Kathleen; his children, Matthew (Candice), Sarah Salinas (Juan), and Leigh Ann Hasquin; his 9 cherished grandchildren; and his siblings, Stephen Fouts and Carol Fouts Johnson.

David will be remembered for his love of family, his Catholic faith, his service to his country, and the kindness and strength he shared with others throughout his life. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.

All services will be held at Holy Name Catholic Church on Tuesday, June 16, 2026. Visitation will take place from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 p.m. Military honors will immediately follow the Mass.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in David's memory to his favorite charity, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
