David W. Messer

David died at the Beech Grove Meadows Tuesday morning. He was preceded in death by his father Bill Messer and his brother Billy Messer. He leaves behind his son Adam Wayne Messer; mother Nancy K. Messer; and his sister Lu Ann Beagle; niece Julia Beagle her two children, and his nephew, Sam Beagle, and his two children.

David worked for years with his father, building many beautiful homes in Marion County and surrounding areas. He was a craftsman when it came to wood.

He also was a loner and a realist. His favorite saying was. “I can do this by myself!” He usually did.

David joined the Beech Grove Methodist Church when he was 12 years old. He played tennis in high school; when he graduated from Beech Grove he was number one on the team.

A celebration of David’s life will be held Tuesday May 30th from 4:00-7:00 PM at Little & Sons Funeral Home Beech Grove Chapel. Memorial tributes may be made to the Indiana Diabetes Association in David’s name in lieu of flowers.
