My sincere sympathy goes to the entire Alig family. I am Mary Schnieders OBrien, Ann Quinn's cousin here in Indianapolis. I saw Diane's obituary in the paper and was surprised to see she had passed. I hope her family is rejoicing in the fact that Diane is in heaven playing guitars and laughing with Ann. They were a great example of what true friendship is! I enjoyed looking at the gallery of pictures you posted, especially the ones with Ann and Diane smiling all the time! Prayers go out to you Howard that you find the strength to carry on and continue Diane's legacy of serving others. Take care, Mary

I am one of her former students, and I wish to offer my sincerest condolence's to you at this your time of loss. Mrs. Alig was great teacher to a lot of us at school 28, and we all loved her dearly as she was a friend as well as a great educator to us all. We remember her fondly and will miss her.

Lynda and I are so sorry for Diane’s passing. She was such a caring soul. Also a fine example for us all, to be Christian Stewards.

Diane was such a wonderful lady. Always willing to help out. She was always so gracious to include Tabetha in your family adventures; such great memories. And she was so kind to tutor her in Math throughout her high school years. She will certainly be missed by so many people.

Prayers for the entire family for such a great loss.

Diane was a great tennis player and friend who played on my USTA teams some years ago. I once put her at number one singles as a sacrifice match and in true Diane fashion she won her match. I lost track of her over the years but asked others about her from time to time. No one I asked seemed to know about her. I was very sad to see her obituary this morning and wish I had done more to try to contact her. I will always have fond memories of her for her great can do attitude.

We have many happy memories of times with Diane and Howard, some going back over 45 years.
And then more with Bryan, Rachel, their spouses and their own kids.

Will especially miss cooking bacon alongside Diane at Gigi's on Christmas mornings.
Love to you all.

I've told Diane THANKS many times for being such a great friend. She was a wonderful B.H.S. classmate to all of us in the class of '63. This weekend is our 55th Year reunion in Brookville, IN. Howard and Diane will be very fondly remembered by all of her classmates.
May God bless the Alig family and friends.
