93, of Indianapolis, passed away on September 25, 2017. Dot was a beautiful woman, both inside and out. She worked over 35 years as a cook in the school system and was a lover of hats, euchre, and her family. Her wonderful cooking and sweet smile will be missed by many, including her husband of 72 years, Robert; her daughters, Dottie (Jack) Joyner, Sandy Reed, and Janet (Mike) Burget; her siblings, Fred Lantz, Evelyn Smalley, and Donna Wilson; 6 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 28, 2017 4-8pm at Little and Sons Beech Grove Chapel with Funeral Services on Friday, September 29, 2017 at 11am, with visitation preceding from 10am until the time of service at Good Shepard United Methodist Church. Memorial contributions may be made to Heart to Heart hospice or Good Shepard United Methodist Church (2015 S Arlington Ave, Indianapolis).
