Doyle Homer Alford, age 71, of Fairland, Indiana passed away on Saturday, April 1, 2023. Doyle was born in Beech Grove to the late Curtis and Mildred (Holt) Alford. He was a United States Air Force Veteran and had retired from Amtrak in 2011 after 40 years. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Ronald Alford.
Doyle is survived by his wife, Connie (Turk) Alford; his children, Amber Robinson (James), Chris Alford (Jill) and Corey Alford (Stephanie); his grandchildren, Corey Alford Jr., Cooper Alford and Evalynn Robinson; his twin brother, Dale Alford (Marty), brother, Bob Alford; sisters, Colleen Keller (Dave) and Sheila Alford; his sister-in-law, Sondra Alford.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Friday, April 7, 2023 at Little & Sons Funeral Home, 1301 Main Street, Beech Grove, Indiana. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home with Rev. Mark Kern of Pleasant View Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in the Pleasant View Cemetery in Shelby County.
