Helen P. Gasper

85, passed away peacefully on August 13, 2014 in Greenwood, IN. She was born in Indianapolis to the late Dennis Joseph (Sr.) and Helen M. McGinty Noone. Helen dedicated her life to serving her Lord and her family, and volunteer work at her church and several schools. She lived the motto “cleanliness is next to Godliness” in a cheerful manner. Helen was loved by everyone who met and knew her.She is survived by her sons and their wives, Mark (Peggy) and Stephen (Jan) Gasper; Grandchildren Ashley, Jason, Eric, Scott and Sarah; Great-grandchildren Maddalyn, Connor and Emmalynn. She is also survived by her loving brother, sisters and their spouses: Betty (Don) Hoffman; Colette Philhower; JohnThomas (Helen) Noone; Kay (Jim) Woods; Francis (Marianne) Noone; Stephen (Kathy) Noone, and JoEllen (Ron) Eckstein, plus dozens of nieces, nephews and their families. Helen was preceded in death by her beloved husband of nearly 56 years, Robert J. Gasper, and her siblings Maxine Noone, Vincentia Noone Sanders, Dorothy Joy Noone Schaedel, Dennis Noone Jr., and Mary Anne Noone Grande. The family expresses their thanks and appreciation to the caring staff at the Pavilion at Greenwood Village South for their many kindnesses to Helen this past year. Visitation will be held Sunday August 17th from 4:00 – 8:00 pm at Little & Sons Funeral Home Beech Grove. A brief service will be held at the Funeral Home Monday August 18th at 9:30am, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am in Holy Name Catholic Church, Beech Grove. Burial to follow at Calvary Cemetary. Memorial Contributions may be made to Holy Name Catholic Church or to Greenwood Village South.
