So sad to hear this. He covered as leader in our 4H tractor club. He taught me how to grind valves and drive a stick shift.My parents were friends with Hugh  before I was born.So sorry for his family and friends loss. Hugh, I took what you taught me and made a nice living driving the big trucks. Wish I had gotten to see you to tell you one last time. RIP

Judy and Darcy.   My parents are still in Florida, and Leanne and I were unable to make the showing or the funeral, but we wanted you to know how sorry we are to hear of Woody passing.    I have many great memories of my times at your house as a kid, and going to games to watch Dad and Woody play church ball together.    I even enjoyed the "discussions" Woody and I had over the years about zoning and drainage issues:))    He was passionate, and I always respected that about him.   Above all else he was passionate about his family and his Savior.   I wish i could see his face now, getting to see with his own eyes what the rest of us can only imagine.    Who knows, maybe he can talk the Lord into putting together a collection of old tractors that need Woody's magic touch.   I hope to see the two of you soon, and I am sorry we missed the chance to be with you today to tell you in person.   our prayers are with you.   Dave Retherford and family.

Woody was a gentleman and a dear Christian brother. He quietly and without fanfare did so many things for so many people. He was always one to encourage others and his encouragement began with a smile. A privilege to know Woody.

We went through grade and high school together.   You were always a very kind and caring person.
 God has a place for you in heaven where all is healed.   God bless your soul.

We have fond memories of "Woody" when he attended Purdue and worked at Union Carbide-Linde Div. in Speedway. We visited socially and much enjoyed his company.

Judy & family - Woody has made the most beautiful journey he will ever take from this life to the next.  He leaves a legacy of kindness, laughter, and caring for those who knew him and were touched by his charity. Our family was deeply saddened with the call that Woody had passed. But with tears in my youngest eyes looks up at me and says "mommy He's in Heaven now and Jesus will take care of him." Woody had a great impact on the lives at Lifebridge and will be forever remembered!!!
