

Juanita Smith, 83, of Indianapolis passed away Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at her home. She was born June 20, 1934 in Hazard, KY to the late Marcellis and Laura (Combs) Fugate. She is also preceded in death by several of her siblings. She loved to sew, crochet, and scrap book. She also enjoyed humming birds and collecting hermit crabs.
She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Hobert Smith; daughters, Evelyn Williams (Butch) and Laura “Marie” Newby (Junior); son, Marlin “Mark” Smith (Sharon); sisters, Hazel Dobson and Veneda Phelps; grandchildren, Angel (Doug), Missy (Darrell), Denita, Dana, Kayla, Matthew, Danny, and Tommy; great grandchildren, Laci (Corey), Cheyenne, Destany, Cierra, Christina, Celeah, Paige, Ayren, Kyler, and Shaylee; great-great grandchild, Kori; and special niece, Kim.
Visitation will be 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm Sunday, October, 29 at Little and Sons Funeral Home, 1301 Main St. Beech Grove, IN. Her Funeral Service will be 1:00 pm Monday at the funeral home with burial to follow at New Crown Cemetery in Indianapolis, IN.
