Mike, your mother was one of the most wonderful and powerful of the generation that raised us. I am so thankful to have grown up in the atmosphere of love and caring she and others showered upon us. My recollections of the times I visited or stayed with your fine family remain with me, our friendship nourished by the tone she and your father set. I'm so glad I was able to visit with her last summer. I'm certain she rests in peace.
