Linda "Susie" Boyd

Linda "Susie" Boyd 78, of Beech Grove passed away on January 15, 2020. She was born on July 15, 1941 to the late John Henry and Margaret Yandell. Susie was one of the most pleasant and loving persons you will ever meet. She loved so many things about life including; nature, animals, children, and no one was a stranger to her. She loved her friends and church family so much and made everyone feel important to her. She was a Christian most of her life and enjoyed going to church and gospel music and sound preaching. She sang in a gospel trio for a lot of years and had a beautiful voice that she dedicated to God. She was a faithful member of the Sanctuary Church of Beech Grove for over 17 years. Everyone knew her and loved her and most would call her mom. She was more than a friend to all of us and she was definitely a mom to all of us. We will all miss her giant smile that would light up any room no matter how dark it was and her hugs were the best. Everyone that knew Susie couldn’t wait for her smile and the love hug she would give you to let you know she was there for you. She was a great example of Jesus on this earth and everyone knew she loved God more than life. We will miss her dearly. Visitation will be held at Little and Sons Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 21, 2020 from 4:00pm-8:00pm. Funeral Services will be on Wednesday, January 22, 2020 at 12:00pm with an hour of visitation immediately prior to the start of the service.
