Linda June Harris

Linda June Harris, age 70, of Beech Grove, Indiana passed away at home unexpectedly on Tuesday, July 20, 2021. Linda was born in Indianapolis on September 4, 1950, to the late Roy and Evelyn Thompson. After graduating from Southport High School in 1968, she worked for Lawyers Title, met the love of her life, Ingle R Harris III, and together they started their own insurance business.Linda was enjoying retirement, spending time with her family and enjoyed attending her grandchildren's sporting events. She loved to vacation at the the beach with her family and enjoyed having lunch with her cousins, Carol, Jeri and Rita at McAlister's Deli. Linda loved her music, including her favorites; Rod Stewart, Jimmy Buffet and the Beatles. She chatted with her daughters every day and they still appreciated her advice and wisdom and always needed her approval even as adults!

Linda is survived by her daughters; Tracy (Jon) Wallace and Julie (Sam) Stennett, grandchildren; Dane, Isaac, Olivia, Savanna, Taylor and Nathan.

Linda is preceded in death by her loving husband; Ingle R Harris III and her brother; Chuck Thompson.

Visitation will be held on Monday, July 26, 2021 at Little and Sons Beech Grove Chapel from 4:00-8:00pm Celebration of Life Service will be on Tuesday, July 27, 2021 at 12:00pm, with visitation one hour prior to the start of the service. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Greenwood.
