

Lois Jean Mohr, 89, of Shelbyville, Indiana, passed away peacefully on May 23, 2026, leaving behind a rich legacy of love, dedication, and vibrant memories. Born in Indianapolis, Indiana, on March 8, 1937, Lois was the daughter of Chester Raymond and Ella Mae Constant. Growing up in a large, lively household, she attended Manuel High School in Indianapolis. As a young girl, loved roller-skating and working as a soda jerk at the local drug store.
She married the love of her life, Norman Eugene Mohr on August 3, 1956, in Indianapolis, IN. Together, they shared an incredible journey of nearly 70 years of marriage. Lois dedicated over 30 years of service at Farm Bureau Insurance.
Lois believed in filling life with fun and laughter. She loved karaoke, bowling, and cooking. She and Norman always looked forward to days at the casino, horse racing, traveling together, and most importantly, enjoying time with their grand-children, family & friends.
Lois’s memory will be forever cherished by her devoted husband, Norman Eugene Mohr; her two sons, Stephen Mohr and his wife Catherine of Georgia, and Kevin Mohr of Indianapolis, IN. Her three surviving siblings, Irma Rae Pearson of Seymour, IN, Doris Settles of Tulsa, OK, and Paul Constant of Indianapolis, IN. Her grandchildren, Heather Combs of Indianapolis, IN, Darryl Mohr of Vermont, Scott Mohr of Atlanta, GA, and Austin Mohr of Augusta, GA, as well as her beloved great-grandchildren, Robert Combs, Tyler Combs, Kingsley Mohr, and Skyler Mohr.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Chester Raymond and Ella Mae Constant; her siblings, Francis Cantrell, Helen Culler, Harold Constant, Wayne Constant, Sandra Asbell, David Constant, Carol-Sue Osborne, and her grandson, Ryan Mohr.
Services will be held at Little & Sons Funeral Home, 1301 Main St, Beech Grove, IN. Visitation will be Thursday, May 28, 2026 from 5PM-7PM, and on Friday, May 29, 2026 from 10AM-11AM, with the Funeral Service starting at 11AM. Burial to follow at New Palestine Cemetery.
