Marilyn "Mert" June Grubb

Mert was born in Beech Grove to William “Bill” and Jean Grubb on August 6, 1952 at St. Francis Hospital in Beech Grove. A lifelong Beech Grove resident, Mert graduated from Beech Grove High School in 1970.

Mert spent her career working at St. Francis Hospital in Beech Grove. She held many positions while working at the hospital and retired in 2018 as a Charger in the Surgery Department.

Mert was preceded in death by her mother and father, Bill and Jean Grubb and her brother William “Billy” Grubb and her sister Janice Piccione.

Mert is survived by her sisters, Donna Jessee (James) and Darlene Witt (James), her brother Darrel Grubb and numerous nieces and nephews.

The gathering of Family and Friends will be held at Little & Sons Funeral Home, 1301 Main Street, Beech Grove on July 22, 2026 from 10 am to 12:00 pm, followed by a Memorial Service at the same location at Noon.

Inurnment will take place at Washington Park East, 10612 E Washington Street, Indianapolis, 46229 on July 22, 2026.
