Martha F. Singleton Roth

Martha F. Roth, died at the age of 90 in Beech Grove Meadows nursing home. She was a lifelong resident of the Indianapolis area, born to the late Carl and Sylvia Singleton in 1920. Martha was a self employed beautician and was married to Lawrence Roth. He preceded Martha in death in August of 1994. One of Martha’s greatest pleasures was going to yard sales and flea markets. She was also a devoted Christian and taught Sunday school for several years. Martha is survived by two sons; Larry (Harmonie) Roth and Daniel (Cynthia) Roth, four daughters; Jean (Floyd) Wilson, Linda Clarke, Donna (Daniel) Kendall and Rebecca Mitchell. She is also survived by two brothers; Leo (Joan) Singleton, Carl(Audrey) Singleton, her sister Mary Ellen Wentworth, 13 grandchildren,14 great-grand children and 6 great-great grandchildren. Friends may call on August 27, 2010 from 4-8 pm at Little and Sons Funeral Home Beech Grove Chapel. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 28, 2010 at 1 pm at the funeral home with Pastor Tim Agee of The Sanctuary officiating. Burial in Washington Park East Cemetery.
