Mary E. (Elford) Nagy, 89, of Beech Grove passed away September 17, 2018. Mary was born January 26, 1929 in Pittsburgh, PA to the late John P. and Serena L. (Maloney) Elford. She was a member of Holy Name Parish in Beech Grove where she was active as a choir member and a Eucharistic Minister. She had also been an active member of St. Joan of Arc and a member of the Ave Maria Guild.
Mary is survived by her husband of 57 years, Vincent Nagy; her children, Laura Brown (William) of Newburgh, IN, John Nagy (Donna) of Cincinnati, OH, Martin Nagy (Lisa) of Phoenix, AZ, Paul Nagy (Lorie) of Greenwood, IN, Ellen Pichereau (Lionel) of Indianapolis, IN; 9 grandchildren, Christopher Brown (Nohemi), Ryan Brown (Rebecca), Joanna Winster (Fred), Suzanne Nagy (Jeremy Mosher), Joel Chabrier, Elijah Chabrier, Joseph Nagy, Zachary Nagy and Nicholas Nagy; 4 great-grandchildren, Indira and Elizabeth Brown, Yasmin Martinez and Theodore Winster; her brother, George Elford (Dorothy) Potomac, MD and several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, September 22, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Holy Name Catholic Church Beech Grove. Visitation will be held Friday, September 21, 2018 from 4-8 PM at Little and Sons Funeral Home, 1301 Main Street, Beech Grove, IN.
