Nancy Louise Winters, age 78, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on Friday, February 18, 2022. Nancy was born February 9, 1944 in Harrodsburg, Kentucky to Charles and Helen (Hungate) Leathers. Nancy graduated from Beech Grove High School in 1962. She worked as a manager at Village Pantry for over 30 years.
Nancy is survived by her sons, Paul Winters, Ottis (Melody Nichols) Winters, Michael (Deanie Cantrell) Winters and James (Michelle Rice) Winters; siblings, Charles Leathers, Thomas Leathers and Betty Stringer; 9 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Helen Leathers; son, Robert Winters; and sister, Norma Donlon.
A visitation for Nancy will take place on Friday, February 25, 2022 from 11:00 AM until the time of the funeral service at 2:00 PM at Southwood Baptist Church, 501 South 4th Avenue, Beech Grove, IN 46107. Pastor Rick Porter will officiate.
