

Norma Lee Camden, daughter of Cecil Burkhart and Rissie McQueen, resident of Bloomfield, IN, born February 8, 1942 in Jackson County, KY, devoted mother, wife, grandmother and great-grandmother died November 5, 2017 peacefully at home, with family gathered around.
She is survived by her siblings Kathleen, Harold Jay, Hobert, Billie, and Gary, her husband William Michael Camden, her children Lonnie, Julie, Ginger, Melodie, Penny, 15 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren.
She will be reunited in heaven with Lonnie W. Clark, and her siblings Ina, Jeanie, Kenneth, and Terry.
Norma Lee spent her childhood in Harlan County, Kentucky. She married, became a mother in 1960, and moved to Indiana in 1968 after the death of her young husband.
She married William Michael Camden June 24, 1977 while wearing a pretty dress and a beehive hair-do.
For a number of years she worked at Wavetek as an electronic inspector, where they utilized her eye for detail.
She loved to sing and play guitar both at home and at church. She enjoyed crafts of almost any sort, from wedding cakes and birthday cakes shaped like princesses and soccer balls, to the quilts she made and gave to her loved ones. She found joy in gardening, sewing, hairdressing, and traveling. She was a "jack of all trades and a master of most of them." She and her husband, Mike, enjoyed traveling, especially to visit family.
She was passionate about church and had a strong commitment to Jesus Christ. She was a member of Harvest Community Church in Bloomfield, IN.
Her services will be held on Saturday, November 11, at 1:30 p.m. Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m.
at Little & Sons Funeral Home, Beech Grove Chapel
She received much loving care from her husband Michael, her grandson Matthew, his fiancé Heather, and her daughter Sophie, Dr. Hadad at Washington Medical Clinic, and the staff at I.U. Hospice, during the final days of her life.
