I worked with Omer for a few years in Major Projects at IPL, years ago. He was always friendly, helpful, and willing to help explain things to the younger guys.

He was a very nice guy!

So sorry to hear. I remember Mr. O’Connor working outside all the time and chasing kids out of his trees and trying to keep them from being damaged. He was a great man.

Omer O’Connor was one of the nicest men that I have been blessed to know. I, too, worked at IPL & became acquainted with Omer when I was working in the insurance department. Omer was in the office frequently before his dear wife passed. Omer wrote me a thank you note after she passed thanking me for my help on her account. What a kind thing to do. After his retirement, we exchanged Christmas cards & notes. I lost contact with Omer, after, I assume, he moved from one residence to another. My letter was returned. He made a lasting impression on me with his act of kindness. He loved his wife & family dearly. Thank you, Omer, for being my friend.
