Patricia was born in Beech Grove to the late James and Anna Arkins in 1931.
She was employed for 25 years at Blue Cross and later worked for the State of Indiana in the licensing department.
Patricia is survived by three sons; Jeff(Sameia), Brian(Lisa) and Kelly(April)Calhoun, four daughters; Stephanie Calhoun, Denise(Kevin) Whittington, Kimberly(Dave)Crowe and Michele Walker.
She is also survived by 21 grandchildren and 10 great-grand children.
Patricia was preceded in death by her daughter Maureen Calhoun and her husband William Calhoun.
Patricia was a dedicated Democrat and held great admiration for Evan Bayh.
A Memorial Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 5, 2010 at Little and Sons Funeral Home, Beech Grove Chapel from 11-3 . The service will be at 3 pm.
