Patricia Ann (Reeves) "Granny" Doane, of, Indianapolis, IN, age 90,passed away on Saturday, April 2, 2022. Patricia was born August 1, 1931 in Anderson, IN. She graduated from Anderson High in Anderson, IN and retired from the state as an Administrative Assistant for Bureau of Vocational Rehabilitation. She attended Christ Lutheran Church of Irvington and volunteered at Community Hospital East. She was a member of “The Gabbing Grannies” a crochet group of friends for 30 years.
She is preceded in death by four brothers; two sisters; husband, Millard Clay “Sonny” Doane; and grandson, Rodney Duane Doane.
She is survived by brother, Leroy “Red” Reeves; children, Deborah Anne Lewis, Rebecca Lynn and her husband, Ernest Trotter, John Michael and his wife, Joan Doane, Rhonda Marie Doane, and Virginia Sue “Penny” Carter; 13 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; and 14 great-great grandchildren.
