Randy Lee Comstock

Randy was born in Bucyrus, Ohio to Jerry & Janice Comstock (Steif) on June 22, 1949. He graduated from River Valley High School in Marion, Ohio in 1967. He married Karen Metro on August 3, 2001 in Seattle, Washington. Randy would tell you he earned his Bachelor’s degree at The Ohio State University and his Masters at the University of Miami. He started his career with an entrepreneurial spirit creating his own companies and finished with 17 years at Rytec Corporation, where he truly found a team of close friends.

Randy was preceded to heaven by his father and mother, younger brother, Dean, and son in law, Matt.

Randy is survived by his wife, Karen; his children Jennifer Nicolosi (Aaron), Travis Comstock (Courtney), Teresa Nielsen, James Metro; his grandkids Emma Nielsen, Joe Nicolosi, Allie Nicolosi, Evan Nielsen; his brother Martin Comstock (Kim) and sister Kathy Caudill (Daryl).

He was a man of many passions from his Buckeyes and concerts to playing cards and laughing with his friends and family.

He loved his adventures and traveling the world. Some highlights include a Villa in Bali, The Great Wall of China, cross country RV & Motorcycle trips, Egyptian Pyramids, Coldwater Lake and a final trip to Costa Rica this June with his family.
