Sebastian was the cherished son of Scott and Kate Minix and the loving father to his young son, Oliver Bradley Scott Minix. His love for Oliver shone brightly. A graduate of Beech Grove High School, class of 2016, Sebastian embraced life's adventures with enthusiasm and passion.
A man of many interests, Sebastian was an avid gamer with a keen interest in the latest electronics. He was known for his love of movies, particularly the horror genre, and spent countless nights immersed in the thrill of cinematic storytelling. Poetry, music, and self-expression through body art were also dear to his heart, providing him with outlets to share his unique perspective on life.
Sebastian was more than his hobbies and interests; he was a great friend who was always ready to listen and help those he loved. His capacity for empathy and understanding touched everyone he met, and his warm presence will be dearly missed.
Sebastian is survived by his son, Oliver, his parents, Scott and Kate Minix, and his sister, Peyton Minix. He is also lovingly remembered by his grandmothers, Vicki McGown and Martha Stephens, and a wide circle of family including his aunt Shelly (Kris) Hubler, uncle Jeremy (Kim) Stephens, nephews Karter Johnson, Shiloe Young, and Kaizen Young, and cousins Zachary Calvert, Chelsea Calvert, Natalie Stephens, and Benjamin Stephens. He joins his infant daughter, Calliope Jane Rose Minix, sister Paisley Minix, and grandfathers Donald Minix and Ronald Stephens in eternal rest.
Sebastian's family will forever hold him in their hearts, and they wish to honor his memory with a celebration of life at a later date per his request.
