Sharon Irene Helm

On September 18, 1980, Sharon married Curtis Helm. Together, they shared a life centered around family, love, and countless memories.

Sharon was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She loved her family deeply, especially her grandchildren, Garrett, DJ, Aniya, Aiden, and Ashton, who brought tremendous joy and pride to her life. She was also a loving great-grandmother to Remi and Ivy, whom she adored dearly.

Sharon loved spending time with her family and friends. Some of her happiest moments were spent surrounded by the people she loved, enjoying pool days, laughter, conversations, and making memories together. She treasured her many nieces and nephews and loved them dearly.

Her faith was also an important part of her life. Sharon loved attending Pasadena Heights Church of God, where she found comfort, fellowship, and joy.

Sharon was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Curtis Helm; her parents, Bonnie and Ralph Carbaugh; and her brothers Billy Joe Carbaugh and Ralph Carbaugh.

She is survived by her children, Veronica and Curtis and his wife Katie; her grandchildren, Garrett, DJ, Aniya, Aiden, and Ashton; her great-granddaughters, Remi and Ivy; her sisters, Dee Dee Brotherton and Cindy Mueller Evan’s; her brothers, Bobby and Jimmy Carbaugh and her many beloved nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

Sharon’s greatest joy was her family, and the love she gave them will remain a lasting part of who they are. Through her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, siblings, nieces, nephews, and friends, her kindness, laughter, faith, and devotion will continue to shape the lives she touched. The memories she created filled with love, togetherness, and joy will be cherished for generations to come.

Although Sharon is no longer with us, her presence will never truly fade. She will live on in the stories shared, the traditions carried forward, the lessons she taught, and the love she planted so deeply in the hearts of her family. Her legacy is found in the people she loved and in the countless ways her life made theirs brighter.

Rest peacefully, Yae Yae. You were loved beyond words, and you will be missed more than you know. Your love will surround us, guide us, and live on through all of us forever.
