Thelma Dean Lewis, 86, of Beech Grove, Indiana passed away on Thursday, January 23, 2025. Thelma was born December 23, 1938 in Bethpage, Tennessee the daughter of the late Galbreath Odell and Mary Kathryne Templeton.
Thelma was a loving mother to her children and notably known as ‘Nanny’ to her grandchildren.
Thelma is survived by her children; Patsy (Dennis) Buckley, Mike (Angi) Lewis and Tim Lewis, brothers; Ed (Gayla), Roy (Teresa) and Ralph (Kay) Templeton, brother-in-law; Charles Lewis, sister-in-law; Louise, grandchildren; Chris (Kristie), Lyndsay (Sean), Chadwick, Aliyah, Ross, Michayla, and Noah; great-grandchildren; Jordan, Caitlynn, Liliana, Stella, Paisley and Stevie, and a great-great-granddaughter; Ivy. She is preceded in death by her husband; Thomas Marvin Lewis, and siblings; Odell, James (Sarah), Mary Jo (Floyd), Louise (Elmer) and Hazel.
A visitation for Thelma will be held Thursday, January 30, 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Little & Sons Funeral Home, 1301 Main St, Beech Grove, Indiana 46107, followed by a funeral service at 10:00 AM.
