He is survived by his wife, Sharla

Children - Ryan (Taryn) Troll, Boulder City, NV, Jill Troll, Walnut IA, Ford (Bobbi) Jefferson, Bedford, IN, Carrie (Bill) Holliday, West Salem OH.

Grandchildren - Harper Troll, Lawrence (Kassie) Jefferson, Logan (Sarah) Jefferson, Lyndsi Jefferson.

Brother - Ed (Cindy) Troll

Tom was pre-deceased by his parents, a sister and a granddaughter.

Tom served his country in the Navy during the Vietnam war. He was an avid gardener, enjoyed golf, bicycling, fishing, and almost anything outdoors.

He loved being a "Troll", his kids, and his truck.

Tom and Sharla were reunited after 25 years and shared the last 15 years - making each other laugh, being friends and taking care of each other.

"We were so glad we had this time together, just to have some laughs and sing some songs.

Seems we just got started, and before we knew it, came the time we had to say 'so long'."

There will be a memorial/celebration of Tom's life on December 3, 2016 from 2:00 PM-4:00 PM at the American Legion Hall in Walnut, IA

He will be cremated and his ashes scattered in his beloved Iowa.
