Virginia Mae Ziegler

Virginia Mae Ziegler, 91, of Bloomfield, entered into eternal rest on December 31, 2022 surrounded by her family. She was born on June 12, 1931 in Danville, IN to the late Joel and Lavina Johnson. Virginia retired from Zieqys BBQ and also from Mt. Vernon High School. She loved flowers, quilting, bird watching, and playing board games.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Otto Ziegler; son, Larry Edwards; one grandchild; and one great-grandchild.

Virginia is survived by her children, Shirley (Jim) Coomer, Joyce Dyer, Mike Edwards, Rick (Teresa) Edwards, Carol (Jon) Greathouse, Jerry (Dena) Edwards, and Ginger (Chris) Urban; 12 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; along with one sister, Rita Andrew.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 6, 2023 from 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM with the Funeral Service to follow at 7:00 PM at Little & Sons Funeral Home- Beech Grove, 1301 Main Street., Beech Grove, IN 46107.
