Bill was born in Indianapolis to the late William and Callie Hargraves in 1922.He was a maintenance supervisor for Standard Brands/Nabisco Brands for 43 yrs. before retiring in 1988.Bill enjoyed gardening, fishing, traveling and woodworking. His greatest love was spending time with his family and friends.Bill married Mary J. Willoughby in 1940. She preceded him in death in 1980. Bill is survived by his daughter Marcia(husband James) Wiseman of New Palestine, IN, 5 grandchildren, 13 great-grand children and 1 great-great grandchild.Bill was preceded in death by his son Elbert “Bud” Hargraves, his brother Elbert E. Hargraves and his sister Ruth Wyatt.Friends may call on Fri. Nov. 26, 2010 from 4-8 p.m. at Little and Sons Funeral Home Beech Grove Chapel. The service will be held on Sat. Nov. 27, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
