He is survived by his beloved wife, Alicia Tafoya; his sons, Norberto Tafoya and Juan Jose Tafoya; his daughters, Rosalba Tafoya, Maria Elena Tafoya, and Veronica Hernandez; and his many loved ones whose lives were touched by his kindness and generosity. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Norma Alicia Zavala, whose memory he carried with him always.
As the first-born son, he grew into a resilient and hardworking man who understood the importance of family, responsibility, and perseverance. He was a devoted husband, dedicated father, caring grandfather, and true family man whose greatest joy came from being surrounded by the people he loved.
He will be remembered for his big heart and generous spirit. He was always willing to lend a helping hand and cared deeply for others, often putting their needs before his own. He was remarkably forgiving and had a way of making those around him feel welcomed, cared for, and loved.
He was also a wonderful storyteller and jokester, always ready to share a story, bring laughter to a gathering, or put a smile on someone's face. He loved to dance and enjoyed the simple moments that brought family and friends together. His personality, humor, and warmth made him truly one of a kind.
Throughout his life, he showed tremendous resilience. No matter the challenges placed before him, he never gave up. He continued moving forward with strength, determination, and love for his family.
His life will be remembered not only through the stories he told, but through the countless memories he created and the love he gave so freely. He leaves behind a legacy of generosity, perseverance, forgiveness, laughter, and devotion to family. He was a remarkable man who touched many lives and will never be forgotten.
