To the Barksdale Family,

Your mom was so friendly and supportive when I first joined Second Baptist Church. She always had a cheerful smile and kind words to express. May you find solace in your precious memories during this difficult time and the days ahead.

God Bless

My love and heavenly wishes go to the Barksdale family on the loss of such a great woman. I remember working with her all the time during my elementary through college years in school. She was so happy that I came back home here in Vallejo to teach. Now after teaching for nearly 30 years, I will never forget her and what she did for the students of Vallejo. My prayers to you all.

Ira and Family,

The McCarver family extends our prayers to you and your family.

Mrs. Barksdale was a beautiful lady. I knew her from the church and the youth fraternity. We appreciated her time and support that she extended to our youth fraternity. We thank you for sharing your mother with others.

We will continue to keep you in our prayers.

To the family of Sister Jackie Barksdale we're so very sorry to learn of the passing of our Masonic sister. Her family at Oriental Chapter #19 wants you to know our thoughts and prayers are with you. May the following scripture leave you with inner peace and acceptance of God's will.

Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my father's house there are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you into myself; that where I am, there ye may be also
