Albert Krovetz was both a friend and a neighbor for whom I had given great respect. When you met Albert for the first time he would be kind but a bit reserved as it was important for him to determine if you were one of the good guys or one of the not-so-good guys as our neighborhood was quite eclectic. We had grown to respect each other because we were true to our respective faiths. Albert had great pride of his children and grandchildren. We had many similar interests for instance, our "kids", our Chihuahuas. I fell in love with his two "Sugars" and began to pray that the Lord would provide a pair for myself. About 4-1/2 months later a neighbor girl knocked at my door and asked me if I wanted one and I said, "Yes, yes!". I ended up taking two bundles of unconditional love like Albert did. My son, Joshua, was Albert's go-to handyman for small repairs, setting up electronics and asking questions regarding software/firmware issues. When Joshua heard of Albert's passing he wept openly. He told me that Albert had been like a mentor to him at times when I was not available and that he greatly appreciated having a mentor and a friend of such high caliber as Albert.

My father has recently passed away on April 11, 2011 after his long and loving journey of 98  years, 4 months, 10 days and 2 hours. I mourn for my father but  more than that I celebrate him, his life, his love. So I too know the loss of a father figure within the immediately family.

With that in mind, I can feel that special place in your hearts in which there is a void. Fear not, we shall all see each other again some day. They have gone before us to assist in preparing a place for us throughout eternity.

May God help fill that void from Albert's passing and may you often revisit the best of memories in your times of loneliness.

Albert, Joshua and I miss you very much and our hearts are heavy.  We miss that kind, gentle voice, your smile and most of all, those memories of you walking Sugar Boy and Sugar Girl while you were filled with pride. Until we meet again, God's Speed Albert, God's Speed!

Dear Cheryl, Diane and I will miss your wonderful Dad. Diane and Al grew up together, and I have had the privilidge of knowing your Dad for over 40 years. He was truly a mensch. May his memory be a blessing.

Susan, Cheryl and Richard and children, and Jay - I am shocked and saddened by Albert's death and want you to know I am thinking of you all at this most difficult time.  Albert was such a wonderful friend to me over our many years of friendship and I will always cherish that.   He was so proud of his family and especially his grandchildren.
     I regret I will not be with you at his funeral but will be thinking of you - and Barbara Sue asked that I send her condolences as well and wants you to know she is also thinking of you.

I was saddened this morning to learn of the death of my good friend, Albert Krovetz.  May his memory be a blessing for us all.  Please accept my sincere condolences.

My condolences to all the Krovetz/Rosenbergs.  I am relieved for him and you that his suffering did not last too long.   Enjoy the memories of all the good times together.
