

Angelo John Cramer, 85, passed away on Saturday, April 7, 2012. He was born in Lynn, MA on July 19, 1926 to parents John and Mary Cramer (Krampovitis). He graduated from high school in Atlanta, GA and attended Emory University. He was a retired bar owner and accountant. He served his country honorably and proudly in WWII.
Angelo was an active member of Annunciation Greek Orthodox Cathedral, where he was a former member of the Board of Trustees and Board of Auditors. At the church, he started what is now the annual Community Christmas Card. He was also a lifetime member of AHEPA (American Hellenic Educational & Progressive Assn), Masonic Temple, Scottish Rite, and Arabia Shrine Temple Clown Jewels Unit.
Angelo had a love of roses and camellias and won several awards for both.
He is predeceased by his parents, sister Stella Leonard Kriticos, and beloved wife Katherine Voinis Cramer. He is survived by his son and daughter in-law John A. and Pamela Cramer. daughter Mary A. Cramer, all of Houston, TX, granddaughters Julia Cramer of Wiesbaden, Germany and Angela Cramer of Houston, TX. He is also survived by brother in-law Paul Voinis, and sisters in-law Irene Chilivetis and Margaret Voinis, and numerous nephews and nieces.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at Annunciation Greek Orthodox Cathedral at 3511 Yoakum Blvd. with the Trisagion service beginning at 10:15 a.m., immediately followed by the funeral. A graveside service will follow at Forest Park Westheimer, 12800 Westheimer Rd.
Pallbearers are Steve Chilivetis, Pat Voinis, Michael Voinis, Rafa Alvarez, Demosthenes Psifidis, and George Psifidis.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions in his memory to the Hope and Joy Youth Ministries of Greek Orthodox Annunciation Cathedral, 3511 Yoakum Blvd., Houston, TX 77006.
